Jim van Leenen
CEO and President
Jim van Leenen is Flash’s CEO and President. Jim brings to Flash a successful track record as business leader in a number of different countries. Jim, a native of the Netherlands, speaks four (4) languages and has enjoyed international assignments in the Logistics Industry in The Netherlands, UK, France and Canada in addition to the USA. Jim’s broad business experience includes senior leadership roles at GE Capital Equipment services in Canada (Vice President & General Manager) and in Europe (Vice President Operations and Managing Director Corporate Integrations), and Sirva, Inc. where Jim was President Canada as well as President of the International division with operations in Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific. Jim carries a Six Sigma Green Belt and a strong track record of achievement into his role as CEO at Flash.
John T. Miller
Senior Vice President Global Business Development
John Miller, joining Flash as SVP Global Business Development in August of 2008, brings 17 years of leadership and critical logistics supply chain expertise to the team. John is responsible for sales, marketing and client development for Flash on a global basis. His extensive experience in business development, increasing revenue, market share and account penetration in domestic and global high-tech markets, and leading sales and marketing teams with a progressive leadership style placed him in senior executive roles including Senior Vice President of Business Development with his prior employer, Choice Logistics. John joins Flash following 14 years with Choice Logistics and 2 years with Sonic Air. John’s track record of success in client account development and understanding of client specific requirements is geared toward the critical parts space and driving opportunities for expansion within that space.
John Hense
CFO and VP Business Technology
John Hense provides financial and business leadership at Flash through his dual role as CFO and VP of Business Technology. John has a rich background in finance with certification as a CPA and Chartered Accountant and 5 years in public practice. In addition John spent several years leading technology organizations from strategy to execution with a focus on specialized transportation and warehousing. John is a Six Sigma Green Belt and veteran of two successful business startups. John has held the position of CFO and CIO for Allied Canada; COO of Opus Software Canada; Division VP with Sirva and had 5 years of public accounting experience.
Robert Andrews
Senior Vice President of Global Services
Robert Andrews, Flash’s Vice President International & Global Partner Network has extensive experience working with both Information Technology and Operations. Robert is responsible for the Global expansion of Flash (geographically and products) and the management of the Flash Network that spans an excess of 50 countries. Robert has spent over 22 years working with DHL Director of Operations in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Area Services Director, South Asia and Indochina in Singapore, Director of Gateways in Japan and Vice President Operations in Beijing, China. With operational and sales experience in Asia, Latin America and the USA, Robert has a keen understanding of what it takes to succeed in global operations in the critical parts space.
Dennis Moniz
Vice President Business Technology
Dennis Moniz has been with Flash Global Logistics since its inception. Dennis implemented the first inventory control information systems for Flash, and was responsible for the successful development of the current web based information systems used at Flash known as FLASHTRAC©. With an educational background in programming and business, Dennis has proven time and again to be able to bridge the gap from customer needs to system developed programs. Dennis is responsible for Global system development driving both Flash internal processes and customer specific requirements.
Michael Moniz
Vice President of Global Operations
Mike Moniz joined Flash in August, 2005 as Vice president of Quality Assurance after serving over 10 years as Director of Global Supply Chain and Logistics for Motorola and Vanguard. In this role, Mike’s responsibilities included management of the Supply Chain to ensure timely availability of spare parts, Customer Service, Customer Order Administration, Logistics and Service Contracts Administration. Mike brings to Flash over 20 years of global logistics experience and is responsible for the Global Operations at Flash including the DC network in North America, Europe, Latin America and in Asia Pacific.
John Sedlacek
Vice President Quality, Process & Performance
John Sedlacek has been with Flash for over 8 years. John’s responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Global Command Center including Customer Service, Dispatch Management, and Asset Recovery Management. In addition, he is responsible for our Control Center Operations in Japan, Mexico and Amsterdam. Prior to joining Flash Global Logistics, John worked in the hospitality industry for 13 years serving as a General Manager for a 700 million dollar hospitality management company.
